park break!

On one of the [rare] perfect weekend weather days we get each year, we took the kids to a local park.

It's nice because this year Hailey is old enough to play around on the equipment without us having to worry she will fall off the edge every time she moves.  She loved swinging from these rings.

Tyson wanted to practice dribbling the soccer ball before his practices started (more on that later!)

Loooove the pictures on either side of this sentence.

Hailey got to swing on the "big kid" swings for the first time!!  Last year she had no concept of hanging on to the chains.  This year she picked it up right away!  Still a little leery of her remembering to hold on, but she did great and loved it.  We reallllly have to take advantage of the nice weather before it gets nasty hot (very soon this year unfortunately)...

Jammy's Birthday!

Still trying to catch up so please bear with me... Jammy had a milestone birthday in February!  Like Papa, she wanted a low-key celebration, so the family went to their house for a yummy lunch.  Tyson got to help blow out the candles (R.J. Goodies cake... pretty tough to beat that!)  As usual, I only took a few pics...

While we were there, Steve and the kids got to meet Lily for the first time. She's a beautiful, happy little girl!

Happy Birthday Jammy!  We hope you had a great time!

a new niece!!

Ok, so I've kind of stopped blogging lately.  Mostly, Apple is to blame for this.  Since I was given an iPhone and iPad for work, Steve and I have both discovered apps, games, etc, and we actually play each other at night in our little bit of free time. Yeah, I know... n00bs.  And, I also take a good amount of pics and video on the iPhone and haven't downloaded any of them yet.  I will try to get better at blogging again.  Anyways, on to MUCH more interesting topics...

On February 1, we got a new niece!!! Liliana Mae Moriarty was born!  Luckily she has had a much easier entrance into the world than her big brother Jonah (funny... same way with our kiddos).  I was able to visit her and her Mommy while they were still in the hospital (ignore the BAD HAIR DAY and just look at the adorable baby), and Steve and our kiddos got to meet her a couple of weeks later at Jammy's birthday lunch!

We are really excited to have another niece and can't wait to get to know her!  We love you Lily!
