7 Months

Hailey, you turned 7 months old on Sunday! You have changed a lot in the last month. You can sit up well, but you still need pillows around you because you throw yourself back when you get excited. You can move yourself around to get toys (not crawling yet, but you can move yourself around in a circle on your tummy). You roll around too.

You can wear both 6-9 month and 9-12 month sized clothes. You moved up to size 3 diapers two weeks ago. You normally take 2 naps during the day, a long morning nap (2-3 hours) and a shorter afternoon nap (1-2 hours). You go to bed around 8:30 and you sleep ALL NIGHT until 7 or 7:30. YEA!

You are eating cereal 2x a day, and also eating baby food fruits and veggies. You like everything you've tried. You've gotten mum-mums a couple of times too.

You figured out how to use your jumperoo, and you really like it, but you still like your exersaucer better.

You are getting better at playing with your toys by yourself. You can get to anything within your reach.

You don't suck your thumb as much as you used to - now you really only do it when you're going to sleep, because during the day you're putting EVERYTHING you can into your mouth.

Your two front bottom teeth have broken through and are working their way up. You're a good teether - you don't complain much at all and you don't drool NEARLY as much as your brother did!

All valentine'd out for your "party" at school last Friday. Daddy took you to Jammy and Papa's after that for your first sleepover without Mommy and Daddy. Jammy and Papa did everything they could but you still missed Mommy and Daddy quite a bit :(

Sometimes we put your hair in a mohawk - you have some longer hair on top but just peach fuzz on the sides, so it's kind of hard to figure out what to do with it!

You are a VERY happy, giggly, talkative, shrieky (?), fun baby when you're with mommy, daddy, Tyson, Ms. Lucy or Ms. Cecilia at school. Anyone else makes you nervous if we're not around. You like to say da-da-da-da. You're doing really well at school and you're starting to interact with your little friends in your class. You really get excited and light up when you wake up from naps, and during your bath time. Your personality is really starting to show and we love it!
