A balanced house

We had an ultrasound today for genetic screening and all that good stuff. The dr. thought everything looked great as far as that goes. In the process, we found out the sex of the baby! The dr. was 80% sure it will be a GIRL. So, looks like we'll have one of each! We'll find out for sure in 6 weeks when we go back for the full anatomy ultrasound. But, we're thinking it's a girl until we hear otherwise! It will be interesting to see how different they are as they grow up.

Here's the first pics of the little one!

(Head is on the right, feet curled up on the left)
(Head at the top, arms up by her face, legs curled up at the bottom)!

Wonderful......Of course, you know that all we want is a healthy baby.

Girls are fun! Not trying to put a damper on anything but I will tell you don't buy anything that can't be returned. We were told Cole was going to be a girl when I was 16 weeks. By 18 weeks he was a boy! In those two weeks I already started planning Anna's big girl room but held off on buying anything until we knew for sure. Thank goodness.

HA HA! AT LEAST NOW I WON'T BE THE ONLY ONE WITH GIRLS! CHRISTINE AND HANNAH WILL BE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY TO HEAR THE GOOD NEWS, BUT THEY STILL LOVE THEIR BOY COUSINS. I THINK THAT "SHANNON" SOUNDS LIKE A VERY NICE NAME. (JUST KIDDING!)
