The Cleanest Fridge in the World

This is what happens when you don't have power for 13 days. You take the food you really care about and put it in a cooler, and you have to give up on the rest. We learned recently that if your fridge is off for 13 days and you leave the doors closed, it starts to get moldy. Even if you throw out the food first.

Luckily for everyone, I didn't take any "before" pictures. After about 2 hours of cleaning, our fridge is now the cleanest one I've seen that wasn't brand new in a store. I just had to brag. Now the outside fridge on the other hand... still needs to be cleaned. Ewwww. There's only so much nastiness I can take in a day.

Basically, a few condiments and some water bottles that we had frozen before the storm for the cooler survived.

On a brighter note, we have some more new developments with Tyson:

1) We found out what he means when he calls stars "goggies". Uncle Kykle has a star hanging by his front door. While we were staying there, Tyson would walk up to it, point and say "goggie", which eventually turned into "keekle". I finally realized he is trying to say "twinkle". I started singing "twinkle twinkle little star" and he said "keekle" when I said twinkle. Mystery solved!!!

2) Tyson can get in and out of the bathtub by himself now. We've seen him try it before but of course stop him from doing it. The other night, Steve was looking at something on the computer during Tyson's bath and asked me to look at something really quickly. I walked in the office (right next to the bathroom), and about 5 seconds later Tyson is standing right next to me all wet and naked. We just laughed. Oops!!

3) He thought it would be fun to walk in Daddy's boots... :)

Only a mother could figure out that goggie and keekle mean the same thing...

What a clean but sad refrigerator! Now you have to get it stocked up again....
Tyson is becoming more and more independent! The bath story was very funny - Tyson probably thinks he is "so big" that he can do everything himself. Oh how fast they grow up!
Love you all, Grandma
